Rasta Sauce Recipe Contest

 1. Eligibility

• Contest is open to all participants aged 18 and older.  

• Employees of Ocean Deck, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected to the  contest are not eligible to enter.  • Contestants must reside within the Continental United States area to participate. (prizes will not  be mailed out to anyone else)  

2. Contest Period  

• The contest begins on November 9, 2024 and ends on January 19, 2024 

 • All entries must be submitted by 12pm EST on January 11, 2024.  

3. How to Enter  

• Create a unique recipe using Rasta Sauce as a main ingredient. 

 • Submit your recipe entry by:  

o Posting a photo of your dish on Instagram,  Facebook, or emailing it to [email protected]. Use the hashtag  #RastaRecipeChallenge. 

 o Include a short description of the dish and a full recipe in the caption.  

o Tag @OceanDeck in your post.  

• Limit one entry per person. 

 4. Prizes 

 • Grand Prize: One grand prize winner will receive a year’s supply of Ocean Deck Rasta Sauce (12  bottles, one for each month), Ocean Deck Apron, Ocean Deck T-Shirt, and a Gift Card of $100,  along with the winning dish being named after them.  

• Runner-Up Prizes:  o 1st Runner-Up: A $75 Ocean Deck gift card and an Ocean Deck Apron.  

o 2nd Runner-Up: A $50 Ocean Deck gift card.  

o Most Creative Recipe: A special Rasta Sauce gift pack, including a chef’s apron and 3  bottles of Rasta Sauce. 

 o Fan Favorite: A dinner for two at Ocean Deck, awarded to the entry with the most  likes/shares on social media. (Max value of $100)  

• All winners will have their recipes featured on Ocean Deck’s social media and receive a certificate  of recognition.  

5. Judging Criteria  

• All entries will be judged based on the following:  

o Creativity: How unique and inventive is the use of Rasta Sauce?  

o Taste: How well does the recipe highlight the flavor of Rasta Sauce? (Our chefs will  recreate the finalists’ dishes for tasting.)  

o Presentation: How visually appealing is the dish?  

o Social Media Engagement: Bonus points for creativity and effort in social media posts.  

6. Judging and Selection of Winners  

• A panel of judges, including Matt/Ken, a salaried manager, and a patron to be decided by the  management team at Ocean Deck that is not to include anyone who has entered and special  guests, will select the grand prize and runner-up winners based on the criteria above.  

• The Fan Favorite will be chosen based on the highest number of likes, shares, and comments on  the original post using the contest hashtag #RastaRecipeChallenge.  

• Winners will be notified via social media or email by [winner announcement date].  

7. Prize Claiming  

• Winners must claim their prizes within 14 days of notification.  

• The grand prize of a year’s supply of Rasta Sauce will be awarded as 12 bottles, one for each  month. Bottles can be picked up monthly or all at once from Ocean Deck. 

 • Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.  

8. General Terms  

• By entering, participants agree to allow Ocean Deck to use their recipe, photos, and name for  promotional purposes, including social media posts, without additional compensation.  

• Ocean Deck reserves the right to disqualify entries that are deemed inappropriate, incomplete, or  non-compliant with the contest rules.  

• Ocean Deck is not responsible for any technical difficulties that may prevent entries from being  submitted or for lost or late entries.  

• Only one prize will be awarded per person, regardless of entries received or utilization on any platform.
